What do you do with inactive members ?

Do you keep them so your forum looks like it has lots of members or do you delete them ?

If you delete them how long after they join do you delete them ?

That is a good question, the forums I am inactive at usually send me an email once every year or two with some of their news, trying to make me active. Never happened to me that I would get deleted. I registered 5 years ago at one forum and was inactive since. After 5 years I became active (I had to change my password though) so I guess there is still hope with inactive members ;)

Leave them there is they have posted before if they have never posted after 3 months and are on 0 posts chances are they wont post, send out a mass email every few months or so to remind them about the site.

I think leave them here, no harm caused and it does look better to have a few members on board. Joe I think its a good idea to try and keep them involved by e-mailing them maybe once a month, its not enough to annoy them but might get them coming back every now and then to check on us ;)
